Our Projects
Mobile Foot Clinic
This is a three year project which involves training professional health care providers on prevention and management of diabetic wounds, setting up clinics and equipping them and visiting various sites in the country to assist in wound management. It is being carried out in conjunction with WDF and MoPHS and the mobile van was donated by Safaricom Foundation. This project aims to reduce the rate of lower limb amputations in which 40-70% is caused by diabetes.
