Through these early diagnosis of diabetes has made in individuals who had no idea they had the condition and more people are now becoming aware of diabetes. This has been a major achievement. In most of the awareness activities, we carry out screening for diabetes and hypertension. Medical professionals who have trained have also assisted the Centre in creating awareness in their communities.

Support groups The Centre has been working with support groups for people with diabetes. The Centre organizes education forums for these groups once a month or in three months. This way the diabetics encourage each other and advice each other on better living.

Counseling and home visits We offer diabetes counseling at the Centre and also during the home visit for all. This has worked well especially for type 1 diabetics and those with nutrition problems.
